Shepherd's Pie

This recipe is so simple to do - and is a great way to use up leftovers as well. Mix it up a day or two ahead and warm it through when you're ready to serve.

- 2 lb. hamburger fried and drained
- onion and garlic sliced and sauteed
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 3 cups Vegetables of your choice: carrots peas, corn, or more
- 1 can tomato soup 10 oz.
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese OR white cheese such as provolone or Farmer's
- 2-4 cups mashed potatoes
Saute garlic and onion
Mix with hamburger and vegetables (if your carrots are raw, cook them first)
Mix Worcestershire sauce with tomato soup
Mix all together and add cheese
Put in bottom of a dutch oven or casserole dish
If the ingredients are warm, heat in 350 oven for 30 min
If dish has been refrigerated, heat in 350 oven for 1 hour
